Come and join the Wardour Garrison at Bishop palace this may half term, come and see what the cooks are cooking, what games the soldiers are playing and many other crafts going on around the encampment. 

Come and see our encampment at Poltimore House, with lots of different things going on, we will be playing games in the Tavern, cooking lots of delicious dishes in our cooks tent and with many other crafts happening in the camp,  there is so much to see, including a weapon display from our soldiers and a talk on the treaty of Exeter.

Come along to Dunsford summer show and come and find the Wardour Garrison, We will transport you back to the 17th century. Discover what life was like, with the cooks will be cooking real 17th century food, the soldiers in the tavern and the other civilians busy with lots of different crafts.

Join the Wardour Garrison at the weald and downland living museum. we will be doing what we do best. learn all about the 17th century including lots of different crafts, come and visit the cooks tent to see what we are cooking up. some of our members can be found inside the houses, come along and talk to us and learn lots of interesting new facts about living in the 17th century.
